In an effort to improve my phone’s functionality, I casually perused through my phone’s settings. I came across my phone’s web browsers’ settings. I use the browser frequently enough so I decided to explore around. I came across the search engine options available. I saw one search engine I wasn’t familiar with so I decided to explore it from my phones browser. I was quite intrigued with this search engine’s statement which was “plants trees.” I use multiple web browsers so I tried changing the search engine for all the browsers I use. Unfortunately I had to go with differing search engines as the browsers didn’t offer the same default search engine settings. My workflow looked a little like this.

Via Phone Settings
Settings > Apps > [Browser App] > Search Engine > [Search Engine of Choice]

Via Browser Settings
[Web Browser App] > Hamburger Menu > Settings > Search > Default Search Engine > [Search Engine of Choice]
